Ransomware and regulations have pushed Vulnerability Management back onto the Security agenda.

Research conducted by Verizon in their 2024 Data Breach Investigations Report found that vulnerability exploitation increased overall by 180%. And according to Mandiant’s M-Trends 2024 report, attackers exploited vulnerabilities to gain initial access in 38% of intrusions – an increase from the previous year.

Today, the risk of vulnerability exploits has become the number one issue in security – in conjunction with exploitation of other weaknesses, like a lack of or misconfigured multifactor authentication (MFA).

That adds to the already-huge pressure for security teams running their exposure management programs.

This virtual panel will bring together leading experts to discuss emerging trends shaping the field of vulnerability management in 2025.

Panelists will explore how organizations can close security gaps by focusing on vulnerabilities that have real-world impact, identifying often-overlooked gaps in their security strategies, and also debate the role of AI.

The discussion will also delve into how new regulations and standards are influencing new security approaches and driving compliance measures, while examining the critical security metrics organizations can use to measure success and present to the Board.

Panelists:

  • Raj Samani, SVP - Chief Scientist at Rapid7
  • Micki Boland, Office of the CTO and Evangelist at Check Point
  • Joe Petrocelli, VP Product Management at Qualys
  • Maor Kuriel, Product Manager at Sentinel One
  • Tal Morgenstern, Chief Strategy Officer at Vulcan
  • Doron Pinhas, CTO at Continuity
